Will I definitely get a note?
No. Your $19 pays for a licensed physician to assess your case. If they find that a note is medically appropriate, they'll issue and sign one. If they don't, they'll explain why and, where relevant, point you toward the care you actually need. We'd rather be straight with you than sell you a document that doesn't reflect a real assessment.
What conditions can be assessed online?
Anything a physician can evaluate safely without a physical exam — allergies, asthma, migraines, back pain, many skin conditions, and dozens more. Conditions that need hands-on examination, imaging, or urgent attention can't be handled this way, and our doctors will refer you to in-person care instead.
How long does it take?
Most patients hear back from their physician the same day. Nearly all consultations are answered within 24 hours of completing the intake form.
Is my information private?
Yes. Your health information is encrypted and handled under HIPAA. Your medical details are never shared with your employer, your school, or anyone else without your consent — a note confirms what's needed for the absence, not your full history.
Will my employer or school accept it?
Our notes are issued and signed by a licensed physician and contain the detail these institutions normally require. Individual employers and schools set their own policies, so we can't promise any specific organisation's decision.
What if I'm not eligible?
The doctor will tell you what they found and what they recommend instead. You've still had a licensed physician review your case, which is what the fee covers.
